Our Story
The journey to Devon
The seeds that grew into Hedgerow Marketing were sown back in 1999 when Lesley moved to Devon from London to buy a design and print business in Plymouth. Roll on 11 years, and many hours creating and delivering marketing assets for clients, she sold that business and started a fledgling creative agency. The name Hedgerow Marketing took a long time to evolve, but the ethos was always to keep it personal and make it all about growing businesses for clients. Lesley was in sales and sales management for years, so understanding the sales process and how that fits with the marketing process, underpins much of what we do.

Hedgerow Marketing is your South-West based Marketing solution. We provide outsourced ‘in-house’ marketing that will grow your business. Even though we are outsourced, we prefer to be an integral part of your team, understanding and being part of your business. We believe communication is crucial to getting the most out of your marketing. Our approach is to raise your brand awareness, strengthen your marketing to support or drive business development and sales, and improve your client’s experience – so that your business can grow.

We’ll agree a marketing and PR plan with you and report back regularly against the key metrics, including the performance of your website, Google rankings, traffic to the site, engagement on your social media channels and tracking the outcomes of campaigns we are runnning.
Marketing is only one part of effective business development so we prefer to work closely with your senior people and the sales people so that we are a fully integrated part of the organisation.

Hedgerow Marketing has grown over the last 10 years and now includes 2 full-time marketing consultants and 6 freelance specialists in graphic design, web development, SEO, PPC and photography.
Lesley Anderson

Lesley has been in Sales and Marketing for over 30 years. Her career includes being Head of Corporate Services for a national training consultancy where she managed the sales team, programme delivery and tele-marketing teams. She moved to Devon in 1999 to take over a print and design business where her interest in marketing intensified. Lesley is an enthusiastic and proactive professional with a focus on business growth techniques.
Jamie Anderson
Marketing Executive
BA (Hons) Geography, CIM
Jamie is a recent graduate, with a strong interest in people and places, politics and psychology. Jamie joined Hedgerow Marketing in May 2020 and has rapidly developed expertise in SEO, Google Analytics and Google adverts along with social media management.
Pippa
Barketing Executive
Pippa is an integral part of Hedgerow Marketing, greeting everyone with tail wags. She’s responsible for making sure we get enough exercise during the day and plenty of fresh air.
Associates
Hedgerow Marketing works with trusted partners to form project teams to deliver results for clients. These include copy writers, photographers, web developers and SEO experts. When you work with Hedgerow Marketing, you have the security of knowing we have been delivering successful projects for over 10 years and we only use people we know and can rely on.
